At the middle of the movie someone spill grape soda in front African-American and this act insult him. Why this action insult him?

well the stereotype of black people is they really like grape soda and kool aid and things like that and so they were implying in the movie that if they slowly spilled grape pop it would be a form of "torture" in a sense because they supposedly like grape soda
