The International Cricket Council Chief, Haroon Lorgat, has issued a warning against match-fixing, which according to him, has shifted its focus from international cricket to the domestic circuit.
Following the incident of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Essex-c783 bowler Meryyn Westfield, who was sentenced to a four-month jail term, after confessing that he had received £6,000 as a fixing payment last month, the ICC officials are keen to keep the game clean from any such ill activities.

"Until they regulate the illegal market – the best we can do is influence and exert as much pressure as we can. But we can't play the role of governments and legislate and bring in regulations," he said.
