“I am satisfied we will have measures in place at the World Cup,” said the ICC chief executive while talking to the media reporters. “We will increase the capacity because we realise things do change.”

gains out of illicit means.
He also said that the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit is functioning well to eliminate any sort of possibilities that can lead to corruption in the game.
Lorgat further added that the ICC has now become more vigilant since the surfacing of a spot-fixing scandal involving three http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 players. He said that in its efforts to make the extravaganza corruption-free, the apex body has increased
its staff strength to keep a check on any sceptical activities of the players.
“We have measures in place, and people forget we had been tracking this long before the News of the World had broken the story,” warned the ICC chief.
Three Pakistan players, former Test captain Salman Butt and the new-ball pair of Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were found guilty of delivering pre-planned no-balls at Lord’s against England. The trio was banned from all kinds of cricket
for a minimum of five years recently by an ICC constituted independent tribunal. Their banning comes just two weeks before the prestigious World Cup gets underway in the Subcontinent.
Lorgat expressed satisfaction over the sanctions and said that the punishments meted out were not lenient by any means.
