When Harper was the leader of the opposition he almost cried when Chretien said Canada would not participate in the invasion of Iraq - a death trap that has more than wounded the American economy and blackened their name world wide

It has been a disaster that we avoided because Harper wasn't calling the shots

He changed a peace keeping mission in Afghanistan to a combat role and wants to commit us to it until the crack of doom all to make nice with the US war mongers ?

How far would he go with a majority ?

Why is it that the only government in this nation that has had the balls to say no to the Yankees has been a liberal government ?

  1. Harper didn't change the mission in Afghanistan to a combat mission. Nor did he send Canadians to the most dangerous part of southern Afghanistan, that was Liberal PM Paul Martin.

  2. I wonder where we all would be if the real winner in 2000 Gore was given his Presidency?  He had the popular vote.  Bush has more than proven he is an awful leader.  Would we have had 9-11?  If so would it had turned out differently since our air force was ordered to stand down on that same day.  Just imagine if the air force was allowed to intercept the air liners and either force them down or shoot them down?  The twin towers would still be standing proudly in NYC today!

  3. Iraq would not have been the mess it is if other nations had followed the US in.   Harper is the only politician in Canada with any guts, integrity or intelligence.

The Liberal politics of previous governments has all but destroyed Canada.
