Greb was a natural middleweight but fought lots of light heavys and heavy Gene Tunney. Stribling usually fought at about 172 lbs but did challenge Schmeling for the heavy title. Greb comes in at 165. 15 rounds and in their primes.

Stribling was very good, however in some of his major bouts he failed to follow through and was unsuccessful in many big fights. A fight with Greb would have been a BIG one.

Greb's speed and ferocity may have yet again overwhelmed Stribling. I dont see Stribling being as quite as good as Gene Tunney either.
