Harry Potter Date? July or November?

I read that the harry potter 6 movie was moved to July 2009 [grrr] but then I just went to the movies today and saw the trailer for the 6th movie and it said November 21st 2008..did they change it again?!

I think what is happening is that the movie was originally set to be released in Nov. '08. Then it got bumped up and the trailers, which are sent in advance, were not thought to be pulled and so are still advertising the original date. At this point I'd say the new July 2009 date still stands.

The officials moved the release date of HP6 to July, three weeks after the trailer came out.

But there are some fan petitions going around that don't want the post judgment. . .

It is July coz they want it to be a 'summer blockbuster' which is stupid coz no matter what it's gonna earn alot of money, they're just being greedy.

We need a nice film in the winter plus it always comes out a week or so before my birthday so it's easy to choose what to see lol

The trailer was made prior to the release date change. Unfortunately, the new release date is July '09.

July of 2009. The petitions will not work cause they are still working on editing. Besides, "Twilight" took the date so there is no time slot for it this year anyways.

it's been moved back to july 2009 and twilight has been moved forwards to take its place

No. July 2009 is the release date. The theater you went to should have pulled the trailer, but obviously hasn't.
