Harry Potter - The Marauders?

I think that nearly all of us can agree that there have been many versions of Fans versions of what adventures did the Marauders (James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Petigrew) got upto in Hogwarts.

Will anybody know if J.K. Rowling will ever decide to write a few stories about them or not?

  1. Maybe u shod like rite a letter to her or sumthing and tell her about ur idea, or talk about it in a forum so ppl that can get the idea to her . thats a good idea and stuff. i dont think she thot of that. and i think if she dos rite them she shod rite them from remus and sirius's povs

  2. hmm it would me interesting but everyone would be comparing it to HP, and I don't think she wants that. She has written an 800 word prequel about a little encounter that James & Sirius had with the police, but its very short. But yea, The Marauders are awesome.

  3. im sure she might do,i live in a wee town about a mile or so from where she lives part of the time, apparently she does shopping in the village but if i ever see her i will ask

  4. She gave a tantalising hint in the short piece she wrote for 'what's your story'. She insisted that it was a one-off and not part of a prequel, but it had the feel of part of a larger story to me!

  5. Well , I'm a huge Harry Potter fan , and it would be very exciting for J.K Rowling to write a Marauders's book .

She already wrote a short prequel from 800 words , but it hasn't been officially declared from her to write a real book.

However , it would be very interesting indeed.

Since Snape is my favorite character ,i'd love to read more about him when he was a teenager. To find out more about Lily , James , Sirius , Lupin .... etc.

    xx Greetings

  6. Good question, who knows???

  7. I think she definitely could. There's so much that JKR could write about. That little 800 word prequel she did for Bloomsbury would be a great start to a novel about the Marauders and she actually said that while she was writing that, she was surprised by how easy it was and how excited she got. So I think there's  definite chance of her writing more books about the Wizarding World sometime in the future. I mean how can she resist??!
