Harry Potter and the half blood prince movie?

Why are they pushing the HP movie to June or some later month? Originally it was going to come out in November? why the change?

i think all of the answers are right. i also think that maybe itd be better not in november with the hit Twilight coming out only a month later which means EVERY teenage girl will watch that more so than harry potter (relitively speaking).

It's due to the writer's strike that occurred at the beginning of this year, it had post-poned some of the production, (clean- ups, effects, etc.) so they aren't ready for a Nov. release date.

Also they thought it could do with some more changes in the film it's self.

And Warner Brothers thinks that the movie will be better

if its released later on

It's because  the sixth movie would make more than the other ones all together. Legally they needed to seperate it with the legend book of the beetle coming out.
