Harry Potter is over, Twilight is over, what's next?

When the last Harry Potter book came out, we instantly got Twilight. So, anyone have any series of books that seem to be leaving the world in awe? What is the next world loved bestseller? Anyone, I would appreciate any and all ideas.

well i love this recently started series by michael grant. the first book is called gone, and he's going to continue until probably the 6th one. he's going to make a new one every summer. or so i've been told

well Jumper. idk its a short series and a movie's already come out. didn't get that popular. Cirque du Freak. its a WONDERFUL series and a new movie's coming out next year. maybe it'll be more popular by then. i agree with Gone by Michael Grant. it was a great book and there's going to be more to the series. i dont think it will be as popular as twilight and HP though... maybe the Pendragon series will get there. those were some hilarious and entertaining books ;D

I dont think Twilight was only for 13 yr olds and lonely wives. i liked Twilight. way before lil girls started ruining for everyone else.

and i dont know. i guess we just have to wait, what other cool story they got for us

twilight didn't leave the world in awe. are you serious? it's just fangirlism. and it doesn't belong in the same category as hp. it just happened to be popular among thirteen year old girl, and lonely wives.

i dunno what's next. just gotta wait and see. i'm guessing an action packed romance. like the book 'jumper' or something. hopefully the author of the future bestseller is a guy.

hmmm theres two series that ive read that are really interesting.

-The Cirque Du Freak Series, its done, but it was awesome. WAY better than Twilight but no where close to HP. Theres also a move coming out, and it was pretty good.

-Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Its better than Twilight too but not as good as HP. Its just a really interesting series that has a lot to do with Greek mythology & there is also a movie coming out. Both are good series but in my opinion no book will ever compare to HP.

no one saw either of these coming, so I'm guessing the next big series will be from an unknown author. So I have no idea what it will be.
