Harry Potter or Twilight???

I'm just randomly wondering what the majority of people perfer..

(I'd say the Twilight series every time. They're awesome!!!)

Both? I enjoyed both very much and don't think they can really be compared - apart from the hype around them , and that the producers of the films apparently don't want them to compete at the Box office.

Just seeing this question really ticks me off, to be honest. There is not a comparison. I like Twilight, I really do...but it can't stand up to Harry Potter.

I would defiantly have to say Twilight!!!! I have read the series and I could never put the books down and im really exited to see how the movie turns out! I just got done reading Breaking Dawn! Greatest Book!!! Life would be sooooo cool if there were vampires.....lol....

i've never read the Twilight series but i think harry potter is really good so i'll go with the harry potter books

I hated the Twilight series....

I would definitely vote Harry Potter because it is a link to my childhood. I remember waiting until midnight at Barnes and Nobel for the 5th book. And I waited until midnight for the 7th with the same people for pure nostalgia. The books aren't very compelling, but I love them because they make me feel so worry free and young.

They both have advantages, but they're quite different.

I'd say read one series, then the other, then move on to something else. There are loads of great books out there.

Anne Fine, Philip Pullman, Eoin Colfer, Darran Shah, Michelle Magorian, Robert Westall, all great authors, to name a few, all have written more than one book.

Also Ursula le Guin's Earthsea novels are fantastic. Give another author a try.
