I purchased this (rather expensive) game for my daughters a couple of Christmases ago. And regretted it almost immediately.

One daughter was about 13 and the other 17, both obsessed with Harry Potter. However, neither could fathom the game as such, it seemed slow and boring and they abandoned it within an hour or so.

It was never used again.

most of these games are badly developed, but it always depends on how much of a fan you are of this particular game or book

i got it for Christmas i am a harry potter fan, but i didn't like it that much but my sister who cried at the last book coming out found it really good so if u are a super super super fan of harry potter get it.
