I am in the middle of watching Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. I just noticed this since I am learning about racism at school. In the books, Death Eaters (You-Know-Who's followers) are simply described as wearing masks with black cloaks. However I noticed something strange in how this was adapted in the movies. The Director or producer or whoever made the choice of making the masks that the Death Eaters wear look like skulls (either that or they actually are). The skull has long been a symbol of fear or death.I also noticed something about the cloaks; the hoods of the cloaks have large points. Was this a deliberate re-interpretation of the Ku Klux Klan?
