Harry Redknapp: Gareth Bale is not for sale
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has been quick to issue the statement that star left-midfielder Gareth Bale is not for sale.
Bale's profile in the European game has been lifted by two remarkable performances against Inter Milan in the Champions League. Bale scored a hat-trick in the San Siro before setting up two goals in the
return game at White Hart Lane.
"As far as selling him goes, the people who own Tottenham are not poor people. They don't need to sell him,"
said Redknapp.
The problem Spurs faces is that Bale will attract more and more attention with every single game he plays well in. Sooner or later a huge European club could table a mammoth
bid for the player, which is difficult to turn down under any circumstances.
Getting better all the time
Bale is getting better all the time. He looks fitter, faster and stronger than ever before. His final ball has improved and his finishing as a goalscorer looks better than
some of the strikers at the club.
The big clubs around Europe are always looking to add to squads filled with stars. Bale is probably already being watched by a number of these clubs and the scout count
will only go up.
Spurs will have to face up to the fact that a bid will come in sooner or later, whether it's from another English team or maybe a club from Spain. Although Redknapp may
not see the club needing to sell him, it will be difficult to turn down a bid that matches or betters the club's valuation of the player.
"I don't think Gareth needs to go anywhere else to play his football.
He needs to stay here at White Hart Lane," added Redknapp.

Bale is one of Spurs' best players. There should be nothing on his mind but football so back him to be successful all the time he is in the Tottenham Hotspur team.
