The former Tottenham Hotspur manager made it clear that he had parted ways with the North London club as their manager after having four wonderful years at White Hart Lane and improving the club altogether from what state he
had inherited it in the first place...
After rubbishing rumours just 24 hours ago on the internet surrounding his imminent departure from Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Redknapp had to hold a press conference confirming his parting of ways with the North London club.
Earlier on Redknapp had hit out at the media people who had revealed through social media websites that he was set to leave Tottenham but in his latest press conference the former West Ham man confirmed that he had indeed left
his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Levy and Tottenham’s court as the club had the power to extend his contract which only had a year left on it.
It should be remembered that Redknapp had refused to take charge of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 national team earlier on in the year and admitted his loyalties to Tottenham but now that decision looks like a foolish one in retrospect. Harry’s
departure from Tottenham now means a uncertain future for his players at the club as well as there are already rumours that both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 are set to look for clubs who will offer them UEFA Champions League football next season.
Tottenham finished fourth in the Premier League table, a position that under normal circumstances would have meant sure shot participation in the early stages of the Champions League but due to Chelsea’s triumph in the final of
the UEFA Champions League, they were awarded a special spot as the defending champions in next season’s competition at the cost of Tottenham.
Harry said, "We missed out on third place by one point in the end, but that is how it goes. I think the same outcome would have happened; the chairman would have gone down the same road. I had four great years at Spurs. All you
can do is leave the club in a better state than you found it and I did that, for sure.”
