The former Tottenham Hotspur manager has come out and defended Roy Hodgson against undue criticism that has been aimed at him in the aftermath of England’s departure from the European Championships following their loss to Italy

an overtly defensive game with the England national team.
Redknapp defended his fellow manager by saying, "It is unbelievable. We keep underestimating our players. I don't care what anybody says, we have got good players. Our back four and the goalkeeper will be as good as any back four
and goalkeeper in the tournament, man for man.”
