Harry Redknapp impressed with Jack Wilshere’s England outing
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has lauded Jack Wilshere’s impressive performance in England’s international friendly against Denmark on Wednesday night.
Redknapp praised Wilshere for the confidence he displayed against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884, but he believes that the Arsenal man still has a long way to go before he can secure a permanent place for himself in the England starting eleven.

top club competition has helped the youngster deal with pressure in big game situations.
In his column in a British tabloid, Redknapp wrote, “His (Jack Wilshere’s) fresh face was a welcome addition to the squad. This was not a step up for him. Don't forget he has played Champions League football for Arsenal and will probably start next week
against Barcelona (in the Champions League round of 16 fixture).”
Although he was thoroughly impressed by Wilshere’s display against Denmark, Redknapp claimed that the Arsenal youngster still had a long way to go before he could live up to the hype surrounding him. Wilshere is tipped to become one
the mainstays of the England squad in the future, with national team manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello earlier stating that the Arsenal midfielder will achieve legendary status with the Three Lions.
Capello has so far been happy with Wilshere’s performances, but refused to confirm whether or not the midfielder would play against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 in the Euro 2012 qualifier next month.
Redknapp added, “There is talk of Jack being the new face of English football and that will be a big ask for a teenager who is still feeling his way in club football. He'll stay in and around the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 squad but it will take time before he is a regular.”
England won Wednesday’s match against Denmark 2-1, after goals from Aston Villa duo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Young-c6813 cancelled out Daniel Agger’s opening goal.
