After being on the slump for more than three consecutive matches, Tottenham finally conquered their fears of defeat against Chelsea at the weekend by drawing with the London rivals despite dominating the match from start to
finish...
Redknapp has come out after Tottenham’s goalless draw with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo’s men. Tottenham went all out for the win against Chelsea and produced some
remarkably fascinating football as a result but did not manage to bulge the Chelsea net.
Petr Cech’s heroics plus some wasteful finishing from Tottenham resulted in a share of points between both the London outfits. However Redknapp has said that he is proud of his team regardless of the result.
Tottenham’s draw against Chelsea means that they still hold onto their precious 4th place spot in the Premier League with Chelsea biting on their heels from the 5th place spot. If Tottenham retain their current
place in the Premier League table till the end of the season then they would be granted a place in the UEFA Champions League, something that has been Redknapp’s aim from the start of the season.
Harry said, “It's a big point for us; it keeps them five points behind us now. I thought we did enough to win the game. We edged it. We kept the ball great and we looked the more likely. I thought we played well today, I was really
pleased. The longer the game went on I thought we looked more likely to score, and I felt we passed it well and created some good chances; their keeper's made a couple of great saves.”
He added, "It's a good point but there's a long way to go, there'll be twists and turns. It's wide open for the top four. Everyone is capable of winning six or seven in a row. We've been playing well, we haven't been in bad form,
but we've come back today with a great performance."
