The Tottenham Hotspur manager has made it clear that he expects his club to do well in cup competitions and win more silverware and to strengthen their squad they will need to invest money in the upcoming summer transfer window

Harry Redknapp has made it clear that he expects his team to win more silverware in the future as they certainly have the players to do so. Redknapp is adamant that Tottenham will invest in more players over the summer and then
challenge for trophies next season as well as that is what the club should be aiming for.
Redknapp’s team were in pole position to finish third at one stage in the season but due to their wretched run of form since February, they have slipped to fourth place and now are under pressure from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Newcastle United.
Till December of 2011, Tottenham were being touted up as challengers for the Premier League crown but now they are struggling to hold onto their UEFA Champions League qualification spot.
Redknapp said in his interview, "This is a great opportunity for us to go all the way this year. On our day we can beat Chelsea. We can beat anyone. There is not a lot between the two teams, but they have the medals to show for
it. They have been there and done it all in the last few years. Tottenham is a club that have won two trophies since 1991 and they were both Carling Cups so it's about time Tottenham won another trophy."
He added, "If we want Champions League football again, we need to improve the squad again in the summer. You have to keep improving because everyone else around us will. If you want to start winning championships then you really
have to push on and raise the bar because that's the only way you are going to do it. You just need to keep adding a little bit of quality to your squad. We need to bring one or two top quality players in and make us even better."
