finish…
Harry Redknapp has revealed that Spurs might settle for a fourth place finish after they dropped three more points to Norwich City at home in the English Premier League. Spurs find themselves in a precarious situation due to their
latest slip up in the league as they are now level on points with Newcastle United who are fourth in the league standings. Tottenham do have a three points advantage over Chelsea but their current form is a factor to worry about for their faithful fans as
it might allow Chelsea to surpass them in the remaining few matches of the season.
Harry Redknapp’s team are aiming to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League competition this season and they were well on track to achieve that up till the month of March where their wretched form allowed Arsenal to grab
the third place position in the Premier League standings. The 2-1 loss to Norwich obviously came as a blow to Tottenham but now they will hope that Fulham can take some points off Chelsea on Monday night in the league.
Redknapp said in his remarks, "It's going to be close but there are still five games to go. If http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 win tonight, we're all square with all three of us [Tottenham, Newcastle and Chelsea] on equal points. We'll settle for finishing
fourth and Champions League football is the key. Finishing above http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 will be tough now. Chelsea have to play Arsenal, Newcastle have to play Chelsea. Who knows?"
He added, "We played 4-4-2 today but it leaves us a little bit open. It's an attacking system but I felt we've looked stronger recently with 4-3-3. It was disappointing the way we played. They played well. They looked sharp, lively
and decent. They played excellently at Fulham and looked a good team. Paul's done a great http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 with them. We were flat for some reason. Grant Holt bullied us a bit. First quarter of an hour every ball up to the front troubled us.”
