Harry Redknapp has come out and called on his players to keep up their form in the English Premier League throughout the rest of the season. Tottenham have lived up to their fans expectations this season after failing to qualify
for the UEFA Champions League as they finished out of the top four teams in the Premier League at the end of last season.
The London club have been on fire lately as they won their recent encounter against Aston Villa by two goals to nil. Spurs had a weak start to the Premier League season as they lost to Manchester City and Manchester United at the
start of the season but since then Redknapp’s men have consolidated their form and went on an incredible run of results.
Rafael Van der Vaart along with other stars such as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 have led Tottenham on a progressive run of form and now they occupy the fourth place spot in the English Premier League table. Tottenham are set to play
in the Europa League on Thursday night but their main concentration remains on Premier League as Redknapp is adamant on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League with the White Hart Lane outfit.
The former West Ham United manager said in his latest interview, “When you look at the table it just shows you how tight it is going to be at the top. There is still nothing between us, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Manchester United
and Manchester City - although City have pulled away a little bit. It has been a fantastic run of results for us since the start of September. In my opinion, any side with top-four aspirations needs to try to maintain that kind of form for the majority of
the season - as much as maybe two points a game over the course of the campaign.”
Tottenham play their next league encounter against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns stadium on Saturday and therefore it will be interesting to see how Spurs do away from the comfort of their home stadium. Redknapp will hope
that the likes of Adebayor and Van der Vaart keep up their form and guide Tottenham to yet another set of three points.
