Harry Redknapp won’t spend big in January; Benoit Assou-Ekotto happy at Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he will not be going crazy for new signings in the January transfer window.
The manager expressed his satisfaction over the current state of his squad and said that he will only consider adding new players only if exceptional talent comes his way.
Tottenham have been rumoured to be interested in West Ham United’s skipper Scott Parker and Newcastle United’s sensational striker Andy Carroll.
Harry said, “We're not in the desperate situation of having to add many players at the moment. I've always said if someone special comes along who could make the difference, you'd be interested. We took van der Vaart in the
last window; he's come in and done great. Other than that we're not too desperate to add to the squad.”
However, the former Portsmouth FC boss may be forced to add reinforcements considering that some fringe players are out of action due to injuries.

However, the emergence of Bale as a left-winger has helped Assou cement his place in the defensive line-up.
After spending 4 years in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, the Cameroonian has finally found his feet in the English Premier League and he relishes the opportunity of continuing his professional career with the London club.
He said, “I want to stay at Spurs for life. I would have signed for six years. I love playing in the Premier League, it's the best league in the world. Why would I want to play anywhere else.”
