  1. I don't ever remember Lavender dying... And I think there were a lot of unnecessary deaths. There were over 60 people dead by the end of the book, but I can't remember exactly whom. But I thought it was kinda unnecessary for Wormtail to suffocate himself to death! WOW!

  2. well :when you read about Harry Potter's Adventures it is

known as Science Fiction Novel written By Books & Authors

also Answers Arts & Humanities has the book title

Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows

  3. no, lavender didn't die...

yeah, i thought that there were a lot of unnecessary deaths...lupin and tonks, for one. one of them could die, but both of them is just...overkill. lol

    and hedwig?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  4. of course there would be a lot of unnecessary deaths in the 7th book because a war was predicted in the 5 th part (the new teacher -the one that was half man/half horse predicted it in their class room) and i do not think she died

  5. sorry, i don't know for sure if she died or not. but yes i thought there were a lot of deaths that didn't seem necessary. there had to be a few to make the story interesting, but it seemed like some odd choices.

  6. Hermione did save Lavender brown that time, and it did not mention her being one of the dead bodies in the line up, so I am guessing that she survived. There were a lot of unnecessary deaths in the deathly hallows because J.K thought that it would catch people's attention and emotions by killing a lot of the charecters. It was really sad and dramatic, so that made it more popular and known. I think that the death of Fred,(or was it george?) was completely unnecessary, and i doubt whether they will kill him in the movie. A lot of J.K. fans were disappointed by the death of Fred. It was really sad. :(

  7. hello Sabrina!

well, I must admit I don't recall J.K.Rowling ever making it official that she died. I don't think so (at least I don't hope so). She never really said if she died or not but after she mentioned Lavender the spiders came in so we are left only to guess her fate.

On the matter of the other deaths, WWAAAAAHHH!!!. I do indeed feel there were many unnecessary deaths. I understand that Hedwig had to die, how could Harry go after Horcrux's with Hedwig? But some deaths were just completley unnecessary. Why did she kill off Dobby? or Mad-Eye? or Ted Tonks? or Lupin? or Tonks? As for Lupin and Tonks, I think it was horrible that they were killed. and right after Teddy was born! Lupin was indeed one of my favorite characters and I cried my eyes out when he died. But I guess Rowling wanted Harry to have to care for Teddy like Sirius was supposed to care for Harry.

Now I hate to admit it but I guess she had to kill off one Weasley. We loved the family SO much but it was unrealistic if they ALL survived. ( I personally would have sacrificed Percy.) Killing off Fred was a big blow but it made the family stronger and closer, I personally couldn't believe it though. I was devastated. And Snape, that was just cruel! She makes us hate him, then she makes us like him, then she makes us LOATHE him, and then she makes adore and love him.....then she kills him! I personally believed he was a good guy throughout the books but when it came to the 6th book, I admitted to myself that he was a bad guy, but then the ending!!!!!

All my favorite character's died (except the the trio of course...and Hagrid):

The weasley twins (only one died, but still!)

    Dumbledore

    Sirius

    Snape

    Lupin

    Dobby

    and a few more!

so very sad! I consider it one of the most saddest and brilliant books I have ever read.
