Harsha Bhogle wants http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453 to find back his old form
Famous Indian cricket analyst Harsha Bhogle believes that Harbhajan Singh has not fulfilled his talent at the international level and has the capacity to achieve http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Gordon-Muchall-c1499 more than what he has done so far.
Harbhajan is one of the greatest bowlers produced by India as he has taken 393 Test wickets in 93 matches. Only http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
Bhogle feels that the off-spinner has not been at his best since last couple of years and he seems to have lost the venom in his bowling. He said that Harbhajan has been far too inconsistent in recent times to be called a great bowler.
He remembers those times when Harbhajan used to sharply spin the bowl from outside the off-stump towards the pads of the batsmen. That was the reason why Harbhajan used to get a lot of batsmen caught at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Short-c90107 leg.
The cricket commentator said, “In recent times he has looked troubled. True there have been patches of brilliance but far too many inconsequential batsmen have played him with ease. The off break that pitches outside off fizzes in a little more politely,
far too often the ball is pinged onto the pads with square leg for support.”
However, Bhogle admits that all the great cricketers have gone through lean patches in their career. Even the greatest spinners like Shane Warne, Anil Kumble and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/M-Muralitharan-c1864 faced declines in their performances.
He believes that Harbhajan has all the qualities of a great cricketer and it is about time that the off-spinner realizes his talent and do not let his fans down.
“To be fair, not everyone can be great every day. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shane-Keith-Warne-c89672 couldn’t, neither could Murali or Kumble. Maybe when he was younger, the undoubted grit in him ignited performance. I believe Harbhajan Singh was born to be great. But now he must make his tryst
with destiny. And he must do it himself,” Harsha added.
India is currently touring the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 and Harbhajan has a great opportunity to find back his old form against a week batting lineup.
