The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 international believes that the Bundesliga leaders will pose a significant threat for Arsene Wenger’s side in their Champions League meeting in February

Former Luton Town, Arsenal FC and West Ham United FC striker John Hartson feels that Bayern Munich have a good chance of progressing into the quarter-final in place of English Premier League club Arsenal. He previously spent two years at the English side and
is not ruling them out in the crucial European tie.
The German giants have been in great run of for this season and have lost just two games in all competitions. Der FCB are at the top of their domestic league and nine points ahead of second-placed Bayer 04 Leverkusen. They have
faced only one defeat in the Bundesliga.
Therefore, the former Gunners star insisted that the four-time Champions League winners should have won the competition last term, when they lost in the final to Chelsea FC on spot-kicks. Die Roten dominated the whole game but
could not score enough goals to see off eventual champions of Europe.
The former Celtic forward admitted that the Blues were extremely lucky to win the European honour. Moreover, Bayern won 18 corners compared to just one that Chelsea had. The German side also wasted a golden opportunity as they
failed to convert a penalty in normal time.
"In my opinion Bayern should have won the trophy last season. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 were very fortunate. I think Bayern had 18 corners to Chelsea's one and, of course, the Germans missed a penalty before the shoot-out,” he added.

“They are a traditionally a very experienced European side and, like all German teams, are mentally strong. German football is flying just now with three of them winning their Champions League groups,” he mused.

"But none of that will worry http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. They are very capable of beating Bayern over two legs and a lot can happen between now and February,” he finally concluded.
Hartson said that Bayern are veterans in Europe’s Premier cup competition and have great technical ability. He praised the Bundesliga clubs as they all won their respective groups this season.
