Harvard Law school requirments?

Hi,

I have a 4.5 gpa and scored a perfect 180 on my lsats, what are the chances that i could get into harvard law school.

Honestly, you're gold. 180 LSATs is very impressive. I would bet on you getting in, but Yale is ranked #1 and Stanford is just behind Harvard, so even if Harvard passes on you for some reason you will still have great options.

A 4.5 from where? No top college I know of uses anything but a 4.0 scale. The majority of HLS students went to a top 30 college.

You need more than just good grades. Extracurricular activities are a big part of what the college looks at as well. Do you play any sports? Are you a member of any school clubs? Do you volunteer/work anywhere? You will also need to show them your personality in order to have a shot at getting in -- schedule an interview with the admissions office, and write an essay that really sets you apart from the other applicants.

The lowest LSAT accepted by Harvard was 167.  With a perfect score, the LSAT is obviously not going to cause you problems.

Your GPA could be a problem though.  Most US Universities use a 4.0 scale.  I assume that your schools uses a 5.0 scale, so your GPA would translate to a 3.5.  At most schools, that would not be a problem.  However, the lowest GPA of any accepted student at Havard Law last year was 3.75.  75% of those accepted had a 3.92 or better.  If you have a B+ average, Harvard is probably not going to happen.
