academically, both universities are fairly equal.  harvard has the big NAME that everyone recognizes right off.  Yale has a smaller campus, better stdent-teacher ratios.  And just what the (bad word) is wrong with New Haven??  :*

Both have fantastic reputations - go visit both and pick the one you like best.

Depends on a lot of things.  What you are going for? What type of campus do you want? What type of surrounding city do you want (yes, picking a college isn't all about academics, it is also about being comfortable where you are)?  Checkout the link blow to find out more about each school.  Good luck in your decision!

Depends what you want to study. Since I was a law student I would always choose Yale over Harvard but both universities have extremely good departments and both carry a lot of prestige.

Harvard is better and Yale is in New Haven, not a great city at all
