Can anyone help me figure this out. Below are two citations, used by the Harvard referencing system. I'm stuck at "12(1)" on the first citation and "112 (1)" on the second citation, what does it mean?

Ndlovu, R. S. (1995) Stress in the work place. Management Review, 12 (1), pp. 1-24.

Ventura, J. (1997). Growth and interdependence. Quarterly journal of management. 112 (1), pp. 57-84.

So far, i know it goes like this: Author followed by initials (if given) •Year of publication (in brackets) •Title of paper In: •Title of book•?????• pages ? to ?.

But i'm stuck on the 5 question marks part. Does anyone know?

  1. Jonas...

Its a type of referencing that most universities use... not just harvard...

  2. place of publication and name of publisher.

  3. These are journals, not books. It goes "number (volume)" for journals, so the first is journal number 12 (so presumably the 12th year it has been in print), volume 1 (the first volume printed that year).

  4. You got accept to Harvard?

    Bull ****

    -_-
