  1. Harvard does not give scholarships, it only gives need based aid which is based on your family's income and assets, not on your academic merit.

Almost no one gets a free ride. The want your summer earnings at the very least.

If you have the stats and resume to get into harvard, you can get a free ride at many lower ranked schools.

  2. First of all, know that Harvard doesn't have an undergraduate business program, so if this is your goal, Harvard is not the school for you.  Since you are giving GPAs over 4.0, you are looking at weighted GPA, and you need to look at unweighted.

It sounds like you have been a good student, but you have to realize that everyone who goes to Harvard gets perfect, or near perfect grades, perfect, or near-perfect SAT scores, and lots of extracurricular activities.  Therefore, while if your SAT scores are really that high, and your GPA is about a 4.0 unweighted, you might get in, but scholarships are relatively unlikely.

If you come from a lower-income family, though, and you get into Harvard, you may be eligible for grants, which they now put into the financial aid packages instead of loans for those students.
