Harvard system secondary references

Would someone explain how to use secondary referencing with the Harvard system? I am taking a quote from a journal that has taken the quote from another journal. Help!!!

  1. Reference your source and identify in the text where they are getting their information from. Thus 'Jones (2002) cities Bloggs work on Widgets, published in the Home Journal in October 1990, saying ...'. The danger of citing secondary sources unless you have seen them is that they may be wrong - which could damage your credibility. If you can find the original, of course, you can simply cite that regardless.
