Harvest Moon: AWL My kid really hates me?

Question

I am in year 3 in Harvest Moon, and my kid really hates me. He is Rock's child so maybe thats why he's mean but I read that if you don't pay a lot of attention to him when he's a baby, he won't like you when he's older. I was wondering how I could get him to like me, because he won't accept my gifts and when I try to talk to him he tells me to "Get lost!"

n/m. I didn't read that last part. Maybe... well I've got nothin'! I can't play the game anymore because it got all scratched up. :(  Well, just talk to him and keep trying to give him gifts. Maybe just once he'll accept.

OMG. That happened to me, too!!! He totally hated me. If you wanted him to take over the farm, you could've tried to get him intersted in stuff that has to do with farming. I THOUGHT I paid a lot of attention to him, but that was 4 years ago when I played the game- I was 8. so, of course I don't remember. :|  Maybe if you give him tons of gifts it would help.
