On Tuesday, Baroda secured an emphatic victory against Haryana, as they beat their opponents only by one wicket in the Group B match of the ongoing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kumar-Shri-Ranjitsinhji-c71870 Trophy, at Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Rohtak.
By the end of the third day of play, the game was in the balance with both teams refusing to budge.
Both sides were equally matched as they had the firepower to turn the tables even in the final moments of the day.
Nonetheless, Baroda had gained a bit of an advantage when they restricted Haryana on a first innings score of 295 and then smashed 324 when they had their turn to bat.
Haryana, however, were in no mood to get run over by the opposition as they jabbed 127 for two by the end of the penultimate day.
With a better performance in their second innings, Haryana were looking to close the deal on the final day by posting a big target for Baroda to chase.

Then with only 130 on the scoreboard, they lost their fourth wicket when Sunny Singh had his stumps obliterated by Vahora for 57. The batsman could manage to score only a run in his overnight score.
