Has 1080p at 120Hz impressed any ones eyes?

Not, yet, but by Sept. is should be getting much better (2008 TV Line).

It made sports watchable on LCD - but just barely.  Go with a good plasma - a much better picture.

Very much so, but you can only see a major quality change between 60Hz and 120Hz, by using a High-End Sony Blu-Ray player.  Other than that, nothing else will really show off tech like Samsung's Auto-Motion Plus or Sharp's Vyperdrive.  :-)
