Has Accutane Made Anyone Ill? Has it caused anyone depression? anxiety? respiratory?

I took it 12 years ago. I didn't get those symptoms but it dries you up for the duration of use, skin, nose, lips, eyes and other more discrete places (wink wink). Since off of it I still have dry skin and eyes, not like when on it but it is noticeable.

It wasn't worth it for me as my acne wasn't that bad. I just had an over aggressive dermatologist.

I knew quite a few people that took that for acne back when I was in HS and everyone that took it that I knew ended up having severe depression.  Most stopped because they couldn't take it.  This one kid in my HS who I didn't know ended up commiting suicide.  My parents almost had my little brother taking it a few years back and I was strongly against it, they did some research and said no.  I would not reccommend anyone to take this.  If it is acne you want to treat try Pro Activ.  No pills just face cleansers and creams.  My brother uses it and so does my girlfriend.  It really works and you don't have to deal with the side effects of a lot different pills especially accutane which has severe side effects.  Hope this helps you out.

remember if you have some acne then there are antibiotics and over counter medication.  only and i mean only take it if you have severe acne.

severe acne means having more than 50 pimples on your body it does not mean having some spots on your fourhead.
