In addition, there are two eruptions "in progress".  The Mt. Veniaminof Volcano on the Alaskan Peninsula began erupting again on Feb 22, 2008 and the Okmok Volcano began erupting again on July 12th, 2008.

Those are the actual eruptions listed by the Alaska Volcano Observatory since 1992.  For further information, from the Smithsonian Institution, here are the Alaskan Volcanoes (and the date of the most recent activity)  for which ANY volcanic activity has been recorded from 1992 to 2008:

    Aleutian Island Volcanoes:  Kanaga (1995), Korovin (2007), Seguam (1993), Amukta (1997), Cleveland (2008), Okmok (2008), Makushin (1995), Akutan (1992), Westdahl (1992), and Shishaldin (2004)

Volcanoes of the Alaska Peninsula:  Pavlof (2007), Veniaminof (2008), Chiginagak (1998), and Fourpeaked (2006)

Volcanoes of Southwestern Alaska:  Augustine (2006) and Spurr (1992)

Volcanoes of Western Alaska:  no recent activity

Volcanoes of Southern Alaska:  Wrangell (2002)

Hope that helps answer your question!

****BTW, I question the end date of March 31st for the Mt. Augustine eruption.  I was in Kenai from May-August of 2006 and looking across Cook Inlet (using binoculars) we could still see smoke rising from Mt. Augustine during that time.
