Has Alka Seltzer morning relief worked for anybody as a hangover cure?

I heard a commercial that it works great for hangovers. Ive had plenty of hangovers that have made me feel like a zombie or something and have tried different hangover cures but would like something simple like Alka Seltzer to cure me.

Well, the best cure is not to drink so much you'd get a hangover.  But I've heard that one of the HUGE deals with hangover is dehydration.  If you drink a LOT of water, you might be doing yourself more of a favor than drinking Alka Seltzer.

Alka Seltzer might have some good minerals in it...  Other than that I doubt it if would have much an effect on alcohol poisoning.

Try taking cysteine in advance instead. You might also try adding other supplements, like NAC, glutathione, NADH, vitamin E, thiamine, and riboflavin, but cysteine by itself should help immeasurably.

If you're planning to go out for a night of drinking, buffer your system in advance. You'll be glad you did.

It isn't a "cure" but it does make life bearable after a night of over indulgence. The other big bonus is your stomach gets settled and your head stops pounding so you can eat something and get re-hydrated which WILL ultimately "cure" the hangover. Good Luck!
