what's hurting us is welfare. i'm totally convinced of that. people need to work and support themselves. it kills your pride taking a check from someone.

I agree with what all american girl >3 said about welfare.  At one time, people were fully expected to work for a living.  Now a person can simply squeeze out a kid, claim to not have any idea where the father is, and get a check, food stamps, etc.  At one time, prison was a place to be feared, since it was a punishment for a crime committed.  Now, thanks to the liberals, many are like free vacation resorts, with all kinds of luxuries provided to the criminals for free (even things the law-abiding have to do without if they cannot afford them).

What once made it great was Family Values combined hard working industries people. Now the Far left is intent on destroying all of what America “used to be” and in the process is bringing Americas greatness down to size, if not, down altogether.
