  1. Yeah...you can go snorkeling,surfing... or you can visit most of Sydney's attractions, visit the Ayers Rocks-Sidney's first settlement. The Rock is an incredible sight, you can spend the day looking at it,and its colour is always different.Or u can go to Cooktown-the place where Captain Cook  beached the ''Endeavour''in 1770, or... go on a boat trip to Green Island .What a place! The Great Barrier Reef  is wonderful! It's a magical world or... maybe you want to travell to Kuranda,a popular and interesting village in the rain forest or... spend relaxing moments at Bondi Beach! I know there are many things you can see and do there!Australia it's great!!!

  2. You have the opportunity to  participate in any sport here. We have the snowy Mountains where you can ski etc in Winter . A big amount of water sports. Cricket ,Rugby .Volley ball you name it we have it.

  3. Australia is a huge country besides swimming there is bush walking, rock climbing , Snorkeling, horse riding, cycling  and the list goes on in the sporting areas.

There are also many natural attractions to see and man made ones too it all depends on  what part of Australia you are visiting.

And to all the wankers saying we hate this or that race go take a long walk off a short pier.

There are racist people in every country in the world don't judge a nation on a few idiots.

  4. The short time I was "Down Under", I spent driving around and seeing as much as I could. Every sport is played there.

  5. Netball is I belive the most widely played sport in Australia - it's a bit like basketball, and is traditionally a women's sport but heaps of men play it now. Australians are hugely into sport, pretty much any sport in the world is played here.

  6. Cairns is a great place to go if you like active things, they have lots of eco tourist stuff as well as having extreme stuff like sky diving and bungie jumping.

While I was there I went horse riding, snorkeling on the great barrier reef and white water rafting. There are places all over town where you can walk in and book whatever activities you want or see what things are available to do.

As for sports they hafe AFL australian football, cricket and rugby as well as soccer.

You may want to check www.lonelyplanet.com   or   www.australia.com.au

  7. Yes i live there

  8. Yes I have been to Australia . There I answered your  question.

You spoke as if Australia is so backwards that we don't do anything here except swim.

Haven't you heard that Australia won the world cup cricket?

We have a soccer team that played in the world cup final last year. (Oh yeah... you Americans don't know of any other sport except NFL and Baseball - and the occasional basketball)

We have participated in EVERY Olympic games in the modern era with teams in nearly every sport.

We just recently hosted the Australian Open Tennis - or don't you watch that either?

So... what else do you think we do beside swimming?

LOL - Welcome to the Aussie sarcasm.

Think about what you are asking.

We don't live in the dark ages, you know.

    Cheers
