If i got anything like that i would change the service provider immediately. Once government starts to control the internet through I.S.P's they won't stop.

My niece (teenager) did. She got a letter from Universal, Warner Bros, or whoever telling her they would pursue legal action if she didn't stop immediately.

No I haven't..... and how can they tell what you're downloading?  Is all this just BS?

For a lot of people this came as a shock, most people did not know that their children was doing this. This is why the letters were sent out first. They are there to warn everyone that ISP's are now monitoring downloads. All ISP's will look at each persons downloads and see where they have come from and they can now prosicute someone over it. They also have powers to cut users off!
