Has Anyone Ever Heard Of This Place Before?

Question

Have any of you ever heard of a town-ish place called Port Union? Not the one in the States, and not the one in Newfoundland, but the Port Union in Ontario.

It's part of Scarborough but is really close to Pickering and Ajax. It's really close to Toronto, to, actually. Anyhow...

If you have heard of it can you tell me about it please? Like it's schools and places and such? I know that it's not really a town on it;s own but part of Scarborough, and sometimes called West Rouge...?

It appears to be a nice part of T.O.  The link below gives information about history, schools, libraries and such.  There is also a map to show where it is located in the city.

It's part of Scarborough in Greater Toronto area (GTA).

Nothing much there really, perhaps the only thing is the Scarborough Bluffs. There is a marina and park. Further west are the beaches of Toronto.

Lots of smaller parks around and north of here is the Toronto Zoo (north of HWY 401). Mostly a residential area - very suburban.
