  1. Nature's Way is a very good quality company and the Alive multi is one of their popular products. If you feel sick after taking a multi, it's one of two likely scenarios... either the pill is too large and your gag reflex is sensitive (not likely if you feel it in your stomach or if it lasts for more than 30 minutes), or you're allergic to one of the ingredients.

Yeah, it's not terribly common and it sucks when it happens, but there are many people who are allergic to certain vitamins or minerals. I'm allergic to Zinc (took me a long time to find that out) and I know people who are even allergic to Vitamin C for that matter. If you feel sick with any multi, even smaller pill or powder ones, then you are definitely allergic to one of the ingredients.

All that being said, if it's just the pill size you don't like, they do sell a powder shake, liquid, and an effervescent form of their Alive multi. If you don't like the pills, shop around and you should be able to find those. Good luck!

  2. Hi, I haven't used that exact item, but Nature's way is as good as it gets and there's an alternate way to get a multi that I do. I've done years of research and Spirulina struck me as the healthiest supplement on earth. For specific needs other things are better and some things, but nothing to me has as many overall benefits as Spirulina.

It has every vitamin, mineral and trace mineral as a multi plus much more except it's missing Vitamin C. I believe that Esther C with bioflavanoids is the best and when taken with Spirulina the iron in the Spirulina absorbs much better. Now if you want an orange has bioflavanoids too and it's the white part just under the peel. Bioflavanoids is also known as Vitamin P and helps C absorb. Also the daily usual dose is 3 grams and that's 6 per day,but that's not much when you see that it's only a vegetable in a small capsule.

There is one warning about Sprulina because it's high in protein is has a lot of phenylalanine which is an amino acid in foods we eat every day,but there are a few people that are allergic to it just like lactose. It has nothing to do with lactose as lactose is a sugar, but I had to let you know.

Good luck and if you just want their multiple you can buy Nature's way

online at Vitacost.com I think it is and they have very low prices.

Write me with any questions and Good Luck!
