  1. Being a fan of entertainment and sports celebrities definitely helped when I was hired by EA Sports as their meeting coordinator.  I was able to meet celebrities behind the scenes at onsite events and press days in Redwood City, CA as well as during videogame tournaments.

Players of NCAA and professional sports teams, pro athletes, musical groups, rappers, actors, corporate music industry giants and celebrities visited our headquarters for business and videogaming purposes.

It's not really a long list of celebrities I've met, but the names are huge:

Barry Bonds (frequent visitor to a family friend working there)

    All Def Jam Records CEO's

    Michael Jordan

    Tiger Woods

    Terrell Owens

    Barry Sanders

    Ray Lewis

    Snoop Dogg

    Ozomatli

    Mya

    Robin Williams

Dilated Peoples (featuring John Legend and Kanye West-they performed at one of our Christmas Parties)

    George Lucas

    Steven Spielberg

    Vince Carter

    Gilbert Arenas

    MC Hammer

Entire Oakland A's team (photo shoot)

  2. There is one person i hate at school but we always talk about the Giants becasue we are the biggest fans in the school

But, it keeps me and my dad real close, all we have to talk about is Baseball and Auto Racing

  3. Unfortunately no. But I don't care if they have any power anywhere as long as they are knowledgeable and respectful of the game. I have had many conversations with random people about the Red Sox, or just baseball in general that were great ways to meet new people and gain a different perspective on another team.

  4. Does having a conversation with an intelligent Yankee fan at a Rangers game count? Other than that..not really.

  5. Yes, I work at a property management company in Beantown and as a Yankee fan I always got busted on early last season.  Well, just about the time the Yanks were down some 19.5 games, Jerry Remey's (TV announcer for the Red Sox) kid moved into the community.  Jerry came in to sign some co signer paperwork.  He was told I was a Yankee fan by someone in the office.  He walked up to me, introduced himself and said, "How's it feel to be 19 and a half back?"  So I shook his hand and said, "About the same as waiting almost 100 years to win another World Series" He laughed and went on his way.

  6. No, but would love to see it happen someday.  I love the Reds!

  7. Kinda sorta. I've found that being a sports fan in general is a great ice-breaker in work and social situations. I've made contacts with both Yankees fans and Red Sox fans. My ex-girlfriend and I hit it off because we're both big sports fans, even though she hates the Yankees and I love them. (She's an Orioles fan and we met during an event in Texas.) In fact, we had no teams in common.

  8. i was walking by the mall in san juan, puerto rico and was wearing my bernie williams yankee t-shirt.

i hear someone yell behind me and I looked back, and there he was the living legend himself : bernie williams.

  9. yeah me being a Red sox fan got me to become with a famous person that ALL RED SOX FANS SHOULD KNOW

Jared Carrabis me and him have become pretty cool
