Has Ben Cousins lost his West Coast Eagles captaincy?

Well, if nothing untoward happens to Chris Judd, or if he doesn't move on to another team, I can foresee he's going to remain the Eagle's captain for a pretty long time. He's been the skipper since the start of the 2006 season, albeit a reluctant one, but don't you think that he led the line superbly in a premiership- winning seaosn.

That'd mean that Ben Cousins can kiss the captaincy goodbye for all his misdemeanours and indiscretions ie. getting drunk behind the wheel and fleeing from his vehicle. Well, he's been in the news again recently for drunken behaviour. I, for one do not doubt the talent that Cousins possesses (for god's sakes, he's a 2005 Brownlow Medalist), but his off-field actions really cast him in a less than positive light with regards to being a role model.

All in all, I think the Eagles hierarchy have made a good move in stripping Cousins off his captaincy just to make him sober up a little.

omg do u ever watch TV it happend in like March of last year WAKE UP. and it was acutally his decison 2 step down.
