Has Dreamland in Margate closed down?

Question

If it has,has anyone any ideas for a decent seaside resort with a reasonbly priced funfair. I have been to Brighton but with three children the cost of the tokens etc was far too expensive. Preferably somewhere in the south east please,easily accesible by train.Thanks

dreamland in margate is currently closed, i think. look on wikipedia, but there are plans to re-open it lol.

Walton pier is not too bad £10.00 for a all day wristband very good value for money.

Littlehampton used to have a good fair, but couldn't tell you how much it would cost there these days, unfortunately you can bet it will be just as expensive.  You could always find out how much a day pass is to somewhere like Butlins Bognor x

what about southend they have a funfair where you can buy wristbands and ride all day but i am not sure of the cost
