  1. Yes...to me.

  2. yes; but we are sworn to secrecy.

  3. Science does not prove things. A hypothesis (an idea about something) is suggested and if it can be tested by experiments then experiments are conducted. Experiments then either provide supporting evidence for the hypothesis or they fail to support (not disprove) the hypothesis.

With that basic understanding, yes ESP has been supported by experimental evidence that meets the standards for statistical significance and sound methodology for any field of science. These results have been consistently repeated and independently evaluated.

"Using the standards applied to any other area of science, it is concluded that psychic functioning has been well established. The statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is expected by chance. Arguments that these results could be due to methodological flaws in the experiments are soundly refuted. Effects of similar magnitude to those found in government-sponsored research at SRI and SAIC have been replicated at a number of laboratories across the world. Such consistency cannot be readily explained by claims of flaws or fraud."

"Rosenthal, after considering the possible influence of various flaws upon study outcome, concluded that the overall hit rate of the studies could be estimated to be 33 percent, whereas chance expectancy was 25 percent."

  4. No,unless you consider boasting proof.

  5. No.  Some studies have shown surprising numbers suggesting ESP may be a factor in card guessing, but none have come close to meeting the generally accepted burden of proof.

  6. That would depend on who you trust.  If you trust your local university, call their science, psychology, or medical department and ask.  They will tell you that there is no conclusive evidence to show that ESP is real.  If instead you trust a fringe group who bases their beliefs on evidence that is not accepted by the vast majority of the scientific community, you can call them, they will tell you it does exist.

  7. Here are the results based on experiments up until now.

  8. Peter K's link as mind blowing, and really turned me around on the subject.  I always thought I was experiencing ESP with the ghost of an alien Sasquatch, but after seeing that link, now I think it is not real.

  9. That's a highly disputed question, with both sides arguing against the other. There are many scientific journals which are full of evidence of things like ESP, healing, precognition, telepathy, psychokinesis, etc. A very good collection of evidence is Lynne McTaggart's book 'The Field'. Unfortunately, very few mainstream scientists acknowledge the evidence though.

Personally, I've had more than enough personal evidence to convince me that something peculiar is going on. I can't explain what, but I strongly believe that ESP is possible. My partner is a psychic medium, and rocks the socks of people every day. I don't know how she does it, but I have no doubt that it's  real.

  10. No, no scientific bona fide literature has ever proven this to be a reproducible phenomenon.

  11. i don't bother reading anyones answer if i can tell right away that they can't buy a clue! i also would not waste my time searching the net for info backing a point of view that is just not right, at least in my mind! it is obvious, at least from some of the answers that i've started to read, that some people are really missing out on some great real life experiences. e.s.p. was proven to be real to me at about the age of, lets see, i think thirteen. its real, its very real! then again, i do have a few bumps on my head. no, mama didn't drop me!
