Has Egypt ended its DST (Daylight saving time) due to Ramadhan? I'm totally confused..?

..and what time is it for iftar? Is Ramadhan 1st September? Help!!

  1. Yes. Usually, the DST wouldn't normally end for two more weeks but due to Ramadan, they ended it earlier.

    Iftar will be approximatley at 6:20 PM during the first days of Ramdan and will shift to be as early as 5:40 PM by the end of it.

    And yes, Ramdan will start tomorrow (Monday, September 1st).


  2. Yes, the DST was ended last Thursday at midnight especially for Ramadan.  

    Yes, Ramadan is the 1st of September.  

    Iftar will be at 6:18 pm.

    Fagr (start of fasting) will be at 4:01 am.
