  1. yes. gives  more latitude to those who wish ill will.

  2. Increased the spread of western culture and ideas which many find conflicting with their own values, it has created more income inequality (the economic aspect of terrorism certainly plays a role), and has also unfortunately pitted civilizations against others, etc etc...

  3. Globalization has benefited far more than it has hurt.

For instance, a farmer in the boondocks of India can sell his grain at market on the CBOT, 5,000/miles away, at the World Price. Whereas before, that same farmer would only have his local market to sell into which might be swamped with grain, thus leaving that farmer broke because prices are low... But thanks to Globalization, that farmer can sell at much higher prices because there is world demand, not just local demand.

Not to mention, now that farmer has money, so he can call John Deere in the US and order some tractors for his farm. Now that Indian farmer's increase wealth is translating to jobs for Americans who build that Tractor or program the computer in the tractor, or the Rubber Company in Indonesia who supplies the tires, thus putting poor Indonesians to work..

Globalization is Good all around.. To halt it, would devastate the world economy.
