  1. No. Depending on where you live in the country, it is more prevalant than other areas.

  2. It can't hurt anything to go GREEN, heck if its better for everybody world wide..It better be, its the wave of things, now...& in the future!..It's happening now, slowly but surely & its bound to continue..Whether we like it or not!

  3. Not necessarily, green livings is a great thing for the economy

it conserves. They only have that becuz it help us.

  4. haha. no. everyone has just realized that if they keep poluting the environment we're gonna run out of resources.and then global warming will kill everyone. but god did say he wouldn't destroy us by water... maybe it's global warming? dun dun dun!!! lol.

  5. Green Living is in the teachings of most religions. In Genesis I think chapter 2 it tells that man is to cultivate and take care of the earth. In Revelations I think chapter 11 it tells that those that destroyed the world will be destroyed.

Many Eastern religions as well as Native North American cultures teach to be in harmony with nature. These are not new ideas, they had just been forgotten.

I believe the reason for the destruction of habitats, draining resources and pollution has more to do with the 7 deadly sins than advancement of man. Sloth- we have created a machine to do almost any job that can be done by man, we spend more time watching tv than growing food. Greed- we have huge homes with more things than we will ever make use of. Envy- our whole marketing system is built on telling people they need things becuase others have it. Glutony- Americans throw out tons of unused food, because it was purchased and never used, we replace things that aren't worn out, we over eat. Vanity- we pollute the earth and our bodies in attempts to be more attractive. Lust- again with the marketing and s*x appeal used to sell more products. Pride- Americans seem to strive to become the biggest consumers and polluters, we are prideful about having more, and are willing to go into debt to do it. Wrath- Gulf War, need I say more.
