  1. Catcher Javy Lopez wore #23 during his short tenure with Boston in 2006.

Pitcher Javier Lopez wore #48 during his time with Boston in 2006-07.

C Lopez played in 18 games for the Red Sox from 04-August to 02-September, and during that time P Lopez took the mound in only one game, which was caught by Mirabelli. So no, J. Lopez never caught J. Lopez, despite the demands of history that such a thing SHOULD occur. Silly Francona.

I wouldn't bid on that seller's items simply because he is lacking in common decency. Yes, there are lots of lunkhead bidders out there, goodness knows they're NEVER in short supply, but simple, factual answers are sufficient. There's no need for name-calling.

  2. I know Lugo has worn #23 in 2007 and 2008. Lopez might have worn #23 in 2006; but, I doubt it since pitchers usually don't wear numbers that low.

I'm really curious as to why you are asking this.

  3. i dont think he has ever warn a number other than 48 while red soxin it
