Has McCain flip-flopped on Affirmative action?

McCain has repeated voted against affirmative action, but in his first presidential act, he's chosen a woman over about 10 other much higher qualifying men. Has he flipped on his stance against affirmative action?

Finally someone sees my point. Yes. McCain shows he is in favor of affirmative action. He had far more qualified females and males to choose from, but he picked the most unqualified and inexperienced person to be his running mate.
