  1. Polls lag several days, so there are no polls that include yesterday

Lots of people "say" they 'll vote for Obama but won't. So he's going to need a 10 point lead in the polls to win.

  2. Don't trust the polls in U.S. elections.

  3. The polls change everyday.  They still have no idea of what the public is going to vote on election day.  It means nothing.

  4. Barack is higher now because of the jump after the DNC, give it a day or two and McCain will be back on top.

  5. He will probably go up.  Obama's rise in the polls is due to the Dem convention--he can thank Hillary and Bill for that.  The bump is not the normal bump after the conventions though.  Obama has steadily gone down since the DNC handed him the nomination.   ***

  6. McCain has not dropped Obama picked up. When a party has their national convention their candidate rises 5-10 points. Barrack rose from 41 to 49. 8 points. That is normal.

  7. Polls are from 2 days ago and the McCain pick will help not hurt him.

    Sarah Palin kicks butt.

  8. It is possible, this was a gamble by McCain.

Will Palin take The VP job for less money though?

McCain is against equal pay for women.

  9. The poll was taken before Mccain's pick. This 8 points lead is not the bounce dems. hoped for after a " unity convention" and a " greek temple" speech! They were expecting a double digit lead!

  10. Those are yesterday's Poll numbers BEFORE McCain announced his VP pick.

The effect is shown on today's Rasmussen polls where Obama got ZERO increase from his speech/show.

McCain has basically killed any advantage Obama should have gotten. Most experts had predicted double digit Obama lead after the DNC

  11. that's before he made the choice..but I'm sure it will get lower...it's going to p**s a lot of real politicians off and his woman hating supporters...trust me they exist...just ask my co worker what he thinks about Palin

  12. Yes, in the last 2 days he's dropped 8-9% points.
